Senior Soccer

The Senior Soccer Team earned a well-earned 2-1 victory against Ursulines of Blackrock today. This victory was one of revenge and retribution for the team considering Ursulines have knocked us out of the Cork Cup for the last two years running. 

Regina Mundi were the stronger team from start to finish and this was evident when Faye Hanratty opened the scoring after a fantastic ‘1-2’ movement. This performance further improved with Lola Curham’s fantastic finish to make it 2-0 to Regina Mundi. Alex Carroll did well to assist the second goal. 

Ursulines fought back to make the tie 2-1 but our side withstood the late pressure to hang onto the well-earned victory. 

Well done to all involved and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing how the girls perform in the next round.
