Well done to Julie Murray 5Z who won the Final of the Rotary Youth Leadership Competition.

She is just back from a five day all expenses paid trip, which included a visit to Stormont in Belfast, The Dáil in Dublin and the European Parliament in Strasbourg, to take part in Euroscola where young people became an MEP for a day. Her debate topic was ‘Disinformation’ and she had a thoroughly enriching and enjoyable week. The competition aims to enhance personal development and improve communication and teambuilding skills. Students learn life skills, as well as gaining confidence in public speaking and debate.
