Teaching & Learning at Regina Mundi College

Ms O’Brien’s 3P Geography class participating in the “Population Game”, a fun and interactive way of learning about the factors that influence population change. Students work in pairs and each pair are in charge of a country. They are then provided with a variety of random scenarios. Each scenario impacts their population, either positively or negatively and they must adjust their population accordingly. Some very insightful conversations were had regarding each outcome. This was a great way to bring the textbook to life for the students.
