Faye Nason was first up in the minor girls 1500m. Faye did herself and the school very proud finishing 33rd out of 118.
Next up we had 5 students competing in the intermediate girls 3000m. Holly O’Hagan and Sophie Wolfe finished in 12th &13th place and have qualified for the Munster schools. Hannah Hunt, Meadhbh O’Connell and Fleur Lemasney also did extremely well and contributed to the overall team performance. Their team finished in 4th place just narrowly missing out on a medal.
Finally, Ciara Murphy and Orlaith Murray were competing in the senior girls 3000m. Orlaith Murray finished in 14th place and Ciara Murphy finished in 24th place.
Well done to all girls who competed. We look forward to the Munster schools and following your progress.
