The Junior Soccer team enjoyed a long two hour bus journey today to Waterford to play Waterpark college. The team played on Villa FC’s AstroTurf pitch. This was the first round of the FAI Munster Cup Competition for the Junior team.
The result was an astounding 11-0 victory for Regina Mundi College. Our team proved far too dominant for the home side. Every squad member played their role in this fantastic result. The girls kept possession superbly and the passages of play they produced was of an extremely high quality.
Despite immediately securing a 3-0 lead after the first 10 minutes, it did not discourage the team, they continued to press the opposition high into their own half which created more goal-scoring opportunities.
