Senior A and Junior A hockey

Well done to our Junior and Senior A teams who both played Laurel Hill Colaiste in Garryduff today.
Our Juniors were in action first. They battled hard through out but unfortunately a strong Laurel Hill team got the better of them.
Next our Seniors took on the visitors. It was a very tight battle with nothing between the teams at half time. The girls fought back from being 1-0 down to make it 1-1 at half time. Early in the second half, Katie Toomey made it 2-1 in our favor but the visitors made it 2 all before the last quarter. Katie found the net again after a well worked ball out of the defense. The girls won the game 3-2 after a nervy last 10 minutes.
Well done to all our players today on showing great team work and determination.
